Current Legal Experience
Barton J. Fears practices business law and commercial litigation in State and Federal Courts for The Law Offices of Donald W. Hudspeth.  Mr. Fears is lead counsel on commercial litigation matters and appellate matters including contract disputes, restrictive covenants, unfair competition and other business torts, trademark and copyright infringement, business disputes, contractual disputes governed by the UCC, and intra-corporate disputes. Mr. Fears assists business clients with business development issues and business document preparation.

Prior Legal Experience
Mr. Fears formerly litigated in the practice areas of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse neglect and criminal defense and was formerly a trial and appellate prosecutor for the City of Phoenix Prosecutor's Office. 

Prior Non-Legal Work Experience (Engineering)
Mr. Fears worked as an electrical engineer for Motorola, Inc., for six and one-half years.  His Engineering assignments included Research & Development Engineering; Design Engineering; Production Support Engineering and Test Engineering.  Mr. Fears developed new technology, designed electronic circuits for military missile guidance systems, developed software to facilitate the hardware testing process; and developed test plans for circuits and systems.
